As the District Asset Protection Manager at Loblaw Companies Limited, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Asset Protection professionals to protect our stores and employees from loss and risk. This role is critical to ensuring the financial health and stability of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement asset protection strategies and programs across the district to reduce shrink and protect company assets.
  • Provide coaching and training to store employees on asset protection procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with district management to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Foster strong relationships with local law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers and employees.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in loss prevention or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada.
  • Post-secondary education in Law & Security or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Certified Wicklander investigator an asset.

Note: This role requires frequent travel within assigned zones and potentially to other provinces.
