About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wealth Management Specialist to join our team at Aviso Wealth. As a key member of our Wealth Management team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial planning advice and support to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Advice: Provide comprehensive and informed financial planning advice to our members, utilizing your extensive knowledge of wealth management products and services.
  • Business Development: Cultivate relationships with members, clients, and colleagues to foster a strong network and sense of community, driving business growth and segmentation.
  • Portfolio Management: Proactively develop and maintain existing client portfolios, ensuring sustained growth and member satisfaction.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to the highest professional and regulatory standards at Aviso Wealth, maintaining a risk management culture.
  • Team Collaboration: Implement holistic planning approaches, support members, and enhance community engagement by leveraging the expertise of our existing team of experts.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues, contributing to overall skill enhancement and success of the organization.
  • Brand Awareness: Elevate brand awareness within the organization and the broader community to strengthen our presence.
Requirements
  • Advanced Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of wealth management products, services, and regulations, including life insurance.
  • Education and Experience: Post-secondary education in business or related experience, with three to five years of wealth management or investment advice experience.
  • Industry Designations: Completion of industry designation (WME, CSC, PFP), with working towards CFP or CLU (completion within 24 months).
  • Licenses: IIROC or MFDA license; life insurance license considered an asset.
