Financial Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Manager to join our team at Powell River Educational Services Society. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for planning and controlling budget and expenditures, establishing and implementing policies and procedures, and overseeing the collection and analysis of financial data.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Control: Plan and control budget and expenditures, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
- Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Financial Data Analysis: Oversee the collection and analysis of financial data, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
- Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Supervision: 5-10 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Organized.
