Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a Clinical Planning Specialist.
The Clinical Planning Specialist will be a key member of the Program Administration team in Powell River, contributing to the advancement of healthcare initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of targeted initiatives across the health authority.
- Ensure the integration of evidence-based standards and best practices in care delivery, overseeing project development for a variety of initiatives and establishing appropriate evaluation frameworks.
Education & Skills
- A Master's Degree in a health-related field.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience related to the designated initiative or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, demonstrating expertise in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Knowledge & Competencies
- In-depth knowledge and clinical experience in the designated area.
- Proven capability in managing complex projects.
- Familiarity with community development practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in change management and associated processes.
- Ability to conduct program evaluations effectively.
- Experience in budget formulation.
- Strong leadership skills with diverse populations and stakeholder groups.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office suite.
