At Starboard, we are revolutionizing the $2.2 trillion shipping industry by creating a SaaS marketplace for freight forwarders that connects fragmented systems, automates manual workflows, and drastically reduces costs.

We're at a tipping point in global logistics due to labor shortages and increasing demand for efficiency. Our innovative platform is poised to lead this change, and as a Trade Industry Growth Ambassador, you will play a key role in growing our customer base and ensuring they understand the game-changing value Starboard brings.

Your work will directly contribute to our ambitious growth goals and ensure our platform reaches decision-makers in the shipping and logistics industries.

You will identify and reach out to potential customers using a mix of tools like LinkedIn, email, and CRM systems. You will initiate and maintain meaningful conversations with key players in the shipping and logistics industries, uncovering pain points and demonstrating how Starboard can solve them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams to optimize outreach strategies, refine messaging, and convert qualified leads into opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records to ensure alignment across teams
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in global trade, shipping, and AI to better tailor outreach efforts and demonstrate expertise during conversations

You take initiative, set goals, and find creative ways to exceed them.

Requirements include 1-2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role, a proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets in lead generation or outreach, familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and an understanding of the global shipping or freight forwarding industry.

A competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year reflects your expertise and dedication to driving growth and innovation in the industry.
