Food and Beverage Server Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Server at Shorelines Casino Belleville.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Sell food and beverage items with a friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Develop thorough knowledge of menu items and make recommendations to guests.
  • Operate a Point of Sale (POS) system, handle cash and credit transactions, and balance sales at the end of each shift.
  • Clean and maintain tables, chairs, and surrounding areas to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Restock and organize work equipment and areas to maintain efficiency.
  • Practice Smart Serve principles and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Assist colleagues as needed and support the team in achieving our goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of experience in a high-volume environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional attitude and appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player mentality.
  • Cash handling experience is an asset.
  • Smart Serve certification is required or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous point of sale experience is an asset.
