Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Service Associate. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive dining experience, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Sell food and beverages with an upbeat and positive attitude, promoting our menu items and ensuring guests have a memorable experience.
  • Thoroughly know our menu and be able to make recommendations to guests, ensuring they have a complete understanding of our offerings.
  • Use our point-of-sale system to process transactions, handle cash and credit, and balance sales at the end of each shift.
  • Clean and maintain the dining area by clearing tables, emptying trash, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Restock and organize supplies as needed, ensuring the dining area is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Practice Smart Serve and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Assist other team members as needed, providing support and contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience in a high-volume environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask, meeting deadlines and ensuring a positive experience for guests.
  • Professional attitude and appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player mentality.
  • Cash handling experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Smart Serve certification is required, or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous point-of-sale experience is an asset.
