Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TownePlace Suites by Marriott. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our food and beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff
    • Lead a team of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
    • Coordinate staff schedules and assignments to meet business needs.
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff performance and productivity.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high quality standards.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests and respond to their needs and concerns.
    • Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service or hospitality role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
