Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience: Exceed guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Team Leadership: Help create an engaged work environment by choosing positivity and fun, recognizing excellent peer performance, and by caring about and supporting our colleagues.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the F&B operations on a shift basis, assist with the development of performance objectives, and deliver performance reviews for direct reports as necessary.
  • Employee Management: Schedule and supervise employees, verify time and attendance, assign shift work assignments, and ensure appropriate coverage while minimizing operating costs.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Complete shift reports for management and for the next shift, track quality and guest issues, and report to management.
  • Alcohol Service: Assess guest alcohol consumption to determine removal or restriction decisions and deliver messages to guests.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies as required and participate in monthly inventory counts.
  • Customer Service: Offer F&B expertise to internal and external customers.
  • Communication: Liaise and communicate effectively with all operational departments and employees.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including guests, management, employees, and vendors.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures, motivate, and lead by example, and provide a learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees and guests.
  • Recruitment and Training: Actively participate in and share responsibility for the recruitment and hiring process, organize and track training progress.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in hospitality or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of Food and Beverage experience, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Skills: Computer literacy in MS Office, POS experience, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
