Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance and Safety Professional to join our team at Eagle Copters Ltd. in Calgary, AB.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

The Director of Quality and Safety will be responsible for overseeing the overall implementation, operation, and monitoring of Eagle's Quality and Safety systems across all business units. This key leadership position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Manage and direct Quality and Safety teams throughout Eagle's business divisions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure company compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including Canadian Aviation Regulations 561, 571, and 573.
  • Safety Management Systems: Develop, implement, and administer a comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) for Maintenance and Manufacturing organizations.
  • Quality Policy and Procedures: Develop, administer, and enforce Eagle's Quality Policy, Standards, Processes, and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a Quality Assurance/Safety role, with at least 5 years of experience leading effective teams.
  • Skills: Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP, and Quality-related software suites.
  • Languages: English language proficiency is essential.
