Job Title: Tilesetters Supervisor

NIRVANA BUILDERS INC. is seeking a skilled Tilesetters Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Tilesetters Supervisor to oversee our tilesetting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of tilesetters, coordinating projects, and ensuring the highest quality of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate: Lead a team of tilesetters, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, oversee apprenticeship training, and manage the workflow to meet project deadlines.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work site is safe for employees and the public.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit and hire new employees, provide training and development opportunities, and ensure that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with employees, management, and clients to ensure that projects are completed to a high standard and that all parties are satisfied with the outcome.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, noisy, and dusty.
  • Work Setting: Construction, residential, and repair.
