About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at MASTER CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Develop and implement cost estimates and material requirements for construction projects.
  • Supervision and Training: Oversee the training and development of apprentices, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit production and other reports to stakeholders, as required.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of workers, ensuring the right skills and expertise are in place.
  • Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule construction activities, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruptions.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Methodology and Efficiency: Establish methods to meet project schedules, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Communication and Liaison: Coordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Materials and Supplies: Requisition materials and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and minimal delays.
  • Project Oversight: Supervise construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the required standards and within budget.
  • Training and Development: Provide training or arrange for training to ensure personnel have the necessary skills and expertise.

Requirements

  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, judgment, and a strong client focus.
