We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team at Sienna Senior Living. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

About Your Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • You will be responsible for preparing and administering prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the Physician and in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario's Medication Administration Standards.">
  • You will document and follow up on all concerns and complaints forwarded by a Client, family or team members and inform/seeks assistance from the Registered Nurse or designate.">
  • You will promote the Client's self-care and self-sufficiency, emphasize adaptation and abilities, promoting wellness and providing preventative health education, treating the whole person.">
  • You will complete all required assessments, RAPS and care plans within timeframes as required.">
  • You will support the unregulated care workers through guidance, direction, training and education.">

Your Qualifications:

  • ">
  • You should be a registered Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario.">
  • You should have current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate.">
  • You should have current Medication Administration Certificate.">
  • You should have minimum of one (1) year experience in Geriatric Nursing, Healthcare and/or Rehabilitation as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).">
  • You must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.">
  • As part of legislative requirements, you must meet the provincial police check and tuberculosis screening requirements as applicable.">
  • Bonus points for having Post-graduate studies in Geriatrics and Nursing Administration.">
