Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at the Brantford General Hospital. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our intensive care unit, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

About the Role:

As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions. You will work collaboratively with our medical and allied health teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct patient care, including assessments, diagnoses, and interventions
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum one year of critical care experience
  • Current certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
