Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Obstetric Nurse Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients in the labour and delivery units of our hospital. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities- Providing evidenced-based nursing care to patients in the labour and delivery units
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans for patients and their families
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited university
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in labour and delivery or postpartum care
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Certificate, Fetal Health Surveillance in Labour certificate, Perinatal Certificate, Breastfeeding Certificate or Board Certified Lactation Consultant
We offer a competitive salary range of $93,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition reimbursement, HOOPP pension plan, and discounted onsite parking.
