Handyman/Woman - Maintenance and Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at United City Cartage Ltd. as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our facilities, including washing windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
- Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and coordinate with tradespersons for major repairs.
- Advertise vacancies and assist with the recruitment process.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment.
- Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure work environment.
- Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants.
- Supervise and lead other workers as needed.
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Criminal record check.
- Ability to work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks.
- Physical ability to handle heavy loads and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Flexibility, initiative, and organizational skills.
- Permanent work arrangement with 30-40 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
