About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at Sofa By Fancy Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
    • Carry out repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
    • Make adjustments and minor repairs to appliances and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained.
    • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
    • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt.
  • Grounds and Exterior Maintenance
    • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
    • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure all areas of the facility are secure and safe.
    • Conduct regular checks to identify potential hazards.
  • Work Environment
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity.
    • Handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
    • Be organized and reliable in your work.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience
      • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
    • Language
      • Fluent in English.
    • Work Schedule
      • 30 to 40 hours per week.
