Handyman/Woman - Maintenance and Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at United City Cartage Ltd. as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the upkeep of our facilities, including washing windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
- System Adjustments and Repairs: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and coordinate with tradespersons for major repairs.
- Appliance Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances and ensure they are in good working condition.
- Security and Safety: Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment for our employees and clients.
- Customer Service: Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants and provide excellent customer service.
- Team Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Physical Demands: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and work in all weather conditions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in all weather conditions and in a fast-paced environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
