Handyman/Woman - Maintenance and Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Handyman/Woman to join our team at ABS SafeCom Trucking Consultants. As a Handyman/Woman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, fixtures, and appliances to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Facilities Management: Ensure that all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained, including offices, apartments, and common areas.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to tenants and clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Supervision: Supervise and train other maintenance staff as needed, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a maintenance or repair role
- Work Environment: Ability to work in all weather conditions and in a fast-paced environment
- Work Setting: Private sector experience preferred
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and to work in a physically demanding environment
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
- Work Term: Permanent position
- Work Language: English
