Salary: $19.77 per hour

This is a contract position for 6 months. The selected candidate will be responsible for analyzing incoming payments from VISA & MasterCard clients, preparing batch reports for posting of payments to cardholder accounts, and handling inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze incoming payments under 4 eye review and prepare batch reports for posting of payments to cardholder accounts.
  • Data input (MDE posting) and CTS deposits (processing cardholder payments received by Cheque).
  • Process credit balance refunds, prepare MEP entries, and handle incoming/outgoing inquiries.
  • Suspend and reconcile DDA accounts, liaise with the global EZREC team, and provide back-up documentation as required.
  • Serve as back-up EZREC preparer for local EZREC teams and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) supporting projects/initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Three to five years of experience in payment processing with a financial institution.
  • Knowledge of payment processes and Canadian clearing systems/rules.
  • Strong accounting skills, strong people and customer service skills, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and keyboarding skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, demonstrated initiative, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
