Job Summary

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing departmental tasks, training, investigations, and special projects within the Supply Chain Department. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage departmental tasks, including documentation, internal files, records, and metrics.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the department to rollout key sitewide program initiatives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and Supply Chain personnel on material needs for development projects, including raw material sourcing, bill of material review, inventory checks, and chemistry release timing.
  • Coordinate and facilitate investigations for the department, monitor and report quality process metrics, and represent the department in cross-functional investigations.
  • Accountable for Supply Chain training compliance metric by preparing training packages, training documentation, and scheduling training sessions.
  • Support the execution of the inventory management strategy by performing cycle counts, assisting in setting safety stock strategies, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Compile task lists and coordinate the execution of tasks across one or more supply chain functions.
  • Organize meetings, conference calls, video conferences, and take minutes as required.
  • Provide memos, reports, PowerPoint presentations, letters, agendas, itineraries, and other confidential materials and/or administrative support as required.
  • Act as a backup to support with batch record printing and verification.
  • Provide assistance on a wide range of organizational, departmental projects, and other duties as assigned.
  • Follow GMP and regulatory requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Observe and support all safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the Company Mission, Vision, and Values Statement, policies, and current standard business practices.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • University or college degree in a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience is an asset.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Well-developed time management skills and effective technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed team environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
