Job Description

We are seeking an experienced User Support Technician to join our team. This is a permanent position, requiring a minimum of 35 hours of work per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Responding to user queries and providing timely support via various channels;
  • Consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions;
  • Providing advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties;
  • Maintaining a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts;
  • Providing business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties;
  • Setting up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Linux, file management software, Python, C++, MS Office, spreadsheets, wireless networks, WordPress, and HTML;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with tight deadlines;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels;
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent;
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field.
