About the Opportunity

The Occupational Therapist plays a vital role in the Rehabilitation Services team, working collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and family members to facilitate optimal function and independence. This dynamic role requires excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a busy caseload. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consultation, assessment, treatment, evaluation, and follow-up services, while working within the hospital, client's home, and community settings. A strong commitment to promoting a culture of respect and safety is essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to facilitate education programs and interact positively with patients/clients, families, and other healthcare providers, are essential. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to promoting a culture of respect and safety, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
