Occupational Therapist

The Occupational Therapist works collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and families to facilitate, restore, and maintain optimal function in self-care, productivity, and leisure. This role involves consultation, assessment, treatment, evaluation, and follow-up in various settings, including hospitals, homes, and communities. The successful candidate will establish individualized treatment plans, manage a busy caseload, and utilize clinical judgment to prioritize tasks. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
About You- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
- Licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia is mandatory
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate education programs and interact positively with patients/clients, families, and healthcare providers
- Commitment to promoting a culture of respect, safety, and ethical practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, planning, organizing, and supervising effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing service needs and program requirements
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Casual Relief
$33.80 - $42.68 Hourly
