Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Service Specialist to join our team at STERIS Canada Corporation. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service and technical support for healthcare equipment in hospitals, operating rooms, laboratories, and other medical facilities.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. As a Technical Service Specialist, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on healthcare equipment, troubleshooting issues, and providing on-site support to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on healthcare equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts as needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment and perform repairs or replacements as required.
  • Provide on-site support to customers, including installing new equipment, upgrading existing systems, and training users on proper operation and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, including scheduling regular maintenance visits and responding to their needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and marketing, to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including maintenance schedules, issue reports, and sales activities.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as experience with diagnostic tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality results.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Salary and Benefits
