Rehabilitation Assistant

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. As an active member of the patient care team, you will work with individuals, families, and groups to promote movement, occupation, and function. You will collaborate with therapists to deliver interventions that help patients cope with limitations in movement and daily function.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a strong educational background, including a Grade 12 or GED, and a Rehabilitation Assistant Program that includes both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy components. You should have basic cardiac life support certification and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with team members and have good organizational skills.
Hours- Part-time Long assignment, 50% FTE; 37.5 Hours Bi-weekly
- Approximately 8 months
$22.72 - $25.82 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
