Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Altum Health, a department within the University Health Network, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our team of clinicians and administrative professionals at our Vaughan clinic.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will perform multiple and individual product/service support activities in adherence to established policies, procedures, guidelines, schedules, and formats. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, assist with client and product-specific coordination, and perform clerical support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform customer service responsibilities
  • Assist with client and product-specific coordination and administration responsibilities
  • Provide clerical support services
  • Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required
Qualifications:
  • Completion of High School education required
  • Completion of Office Administration certificate or diploma preferred
  • One (1) year or more of related experience required
  • Previous on-the-job word processing and spreadsheet experience required
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational, time management, and prioritization skills required
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve clinic/client/customer problems in a diplomatic manner required
  • General knowledge of office practices, processes, and procedures required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology an asset
  • Ability to deal effectively with difficult clients and conflicting situations required
  • Ability to anticipate and tune-in to customer's unique needs required
  • Ability to produce high-quality work in accordance with Hospital standards
  • Flexibility required to keep pace with an ever-changing environment
