Executive Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Support Specialist to join our team at the College and Association of Nurses of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (CANNN). As an Executive Support Specialist, you will provide administrative support to our executive team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Compile and analyze data to prepare reports and documents for executive committees and boards of directors.
- Establish and coordinate administrative policies and procedures to ensure efficient office operations.
- Prepare agendas and make arrangements for committee, board, and other meetings.
- Liaise with departmental and corporate officials, as well as other organizations and associations.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
- Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and administer contracts and other documents.
- Manage events and administrative tasks.
- Perform administrative and office activities, including typing and proofreading correspondence, forms, and other documents.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Database management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
