Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in Yellowknife. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide administrative support to our Senior Managing Director and contribute to the smooth operation of our regional office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Managing Director, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense claims.
  • Manage employee onboarding, including preparing contracts and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and collective agreements.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration, including researching and resolving employment status and pay issues.
  • Support the development and implementation of business processes and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain various computerized files and record systems to monitor employee status and length of employment.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in a similar environment.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Power user of standard desktop software, including MS Office and Google Docs.
  • Experience using Workday is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and adapt to change.
