Project Support Specialist

Job Summary
The Government of Northwest Territories is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will provide administrative support to ensure the successful completion of projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide project management and administrative support to ensure timely completion of projects and initiatives
- Conduct research to support division initiatives and provide expertise to establish a project management environment that achieves departmental and government objectives
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Monitor and report on project progress and provide recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Post-secondary study in management or administration or equivalent
- At least three (3) years progressive project support and administrative experience, including government experience
- Relevant experience in environmental stewardship initiatives is considered an asset
