Compensation Package

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our Toronto office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and enhance our firm's profile within the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to identify new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships;
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members on business development initiatives and ensure seamless execution;
  • Collaborate with senior lawyers and staff to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional materials;
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business development decisions;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and referral sources to drive business growth;
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals to pursue;
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track business development metrics and analyze results.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in business administration or a related field;
  • At least 7 years of experience in business development or a related field;
  • Proven track record of success in driving business growth and expansion;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
