Job Summary

Mirch Masala Restaurant Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards of quality and customer service, maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our staff and customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork within our restaurant.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Supervision: 3-4 people
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player
