About the Job

This is a permanent position offering 35 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will possess a college diploma or equivalent from a program of 1-2 years, along with 1 year of experience in a similar field.

The salary for this position is approximately $65,000-$85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide prompt and professional technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks.
  • Problem-Solving: Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • User Training: Offer guidance and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Log Management: Maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Application Design: Participate in the redesign of applications and software.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise other technical support workers in this group.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to users in response to identified difficulties.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
