Director & Group Lead, Commercial Banking - London, Ontario

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Banking Director and Group Lead to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Senior Client Relationship Managers, Client Relationship Managers, and Associate Group Leads in achieving business objectives and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve financial objectives and drive business growth
- Develop and execute tactical plans to deepen relationships with clients and increase share of wallet
- Support and guide the Associate Group Lead in enforcing sound credit principles and adhering to industry policies and internal standard operating procedures
- Manage a team of Senior Client Relationship Managers, Client Relationship Managers, and Associate Group Leads to achieve business objectives and drive growth
- Collaborate with internal partners to provide holistic solutions for clients and drive business growth
- Expert sales management, relationship building, and leadership skills
- Strong commercial banking experience and knowledge of Canada's financial services marketplace
- Tactical planning skills and implementation/management skills
- Ability to influence and motivate others
- Proven people skills/leadership, sales management, and coaching techniques
- Expert credit skills and working knowledge of financial analysis, risk analysis techniques, credit adjudication, and the Bank's lending policies/procedures
Minimum post-secondary diploma/degree in Business or Economics or work equivalency. Strong commercial banking experience and knowledge of Canada's financial services marketplace.
