Job Description

A dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager is required to drive growth and expansion within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pursue New Business Opportunities: Identify and leverage connections in architecture, design, and construction to uncover new business prospects.
  • Nurture Existing Accounts: Develop strong relationships with clients, positioning yourself as a trusted consultant and advisor.
  • Serve as Primary Point of Contact: Manage all client activities, services, orders, and communication.
  • Provide Timely Responses: Answer client inquiries and support their needs with tailored solutions.
  • Understand Client Goals: Recommend ways to optimize client spaces to meet their objectives.
  • Lead Project Oversight: Coordinate with design, project management, installation teams, and other departments to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop Comprehensive Plans: Create detailed plans, pricing, and quotes for projects, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all client-facing documents.
  • Manage Service Agreements: Prepare documentation for large projects and service contracts.
  • Guide the Sale Process: Ensure client satisfaction by managing project timelines, scope adjustments, and ongoing communication.
  • Prepare Bid Documentation: Submit proposals and tenders for projects.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep thorough records of client interactions and account activities.
  • Contribute to Team Sales Targets: Update sales forecasts and client growth strategies regularly.
  • Specify Products: Source new options and coordinate with manufacturers on pricing, lead times, and order details.
Requirements:
  • Consultative Approach: A consultative approach to sales and deep relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Experience in Complex Projects: Experience managing high-value, complex projects effectively balancing multiple priorities and keeping clients updated throughout.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are necessary for coordinating across teams and managing detailed project timelines.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Winnipeg, MB. The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
