Job Summary:

The Clinical Manager position at Wing Kei is a key leadership role that oversees the day-to-day operations of our long-term care facilities. This individual will be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, promoting resident-centered care, and ensuring the highest quality of services.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Demonstrates strong leadership skills, promotes the Wing Kei vision, and fosters a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Clinical Oversight: Participates in the hiring, direct supervision of staff, and performance management to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Safety and Quality: Creates a safe and healthy environment that supports the quality services of the healthcare team and contributes to the Person & Family Centered Care (PFCC) model.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Promotes effective communication and collaboration with team members, residents, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Education and Development: Provides clinical support and education to the care team, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Health Care Aides.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluates the performance of care team members and provides feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • System Development: Sets up and maintains a system to provide 24-hour nursing care on the unit.

Requirements:

Successful candidates will possess a strong background in nursing leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to promote a culture of excellence in long-term care.
