About the Role

Fuchs Lubricants is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the preparation and analysis of financial reports, as well as providing guidance on financial planning and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between Finance teams and Group Controlling and Accounting Fuchs Corp.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly profit and loss reports for the region.
  • Prepare and analyze quarterly balance sheets and net operating working capital reports for the region.
  • Reconcile and report on all intercompany transactions and balance sheet positions for the region.
  • Prepare and review monthly cashflow.
  • Prepare and review monthly business reviews for Fuchs Canada Leadership.
  • Provide support in the preparation and submission of budget and forecast files and templates.
  • Facilitate/coordinate changes to local reporting systems to adhere to global reporting requirements.
  • Support and recommend continuous improvement opportunities working in close collaboration with Fuchs Corp.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting from an accredited university.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS/US-GAAP.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as natural leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • S4/HANA experience strongly preferred.
  • CPA or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • 5 + years accounting experience with responsibilities similar to those listed above.
  • Accounting experience in a manufacturing organization, with international subsidiaries.
