Job Title: Vice President, Product Line Leader, Environmental

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to lead our Environmental product line. As Vice President, Product Line Leader, Environmental, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic plan for our Environmental product, driving growth and profitability while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Define and lead the strategy for our Environmental product, collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  2. Operational Excellence: Maintain product line specific technical pricing standards and underwriting authority, oversee account referrals, and ensure consistency and excellence in underwriting practices.
  3. Market Development: Identify new market opportunities and product offerings, and support cross-sell opportunities by identifying client needs.
  4. Portfolio Management: Manage the Environmental product through continuous portfolio management, providing clear underwriting direction to field underwriting teams and ensuring effective execution in line with product goals.
  5. Training and Development: Prepare, coordinate, and execute product line specific training for underwriters and support staff.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 10+ years of insurance underwriting and leadership experience with at least 5 years of underwriting experience within Environmental.
  2. Exposure to and understanding of the actuarial function.
