Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled leader to lead our Environmental product line. As Vice President, Product Line Leader, Environmental, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic plan for our Environmental product, driving growth and profitability while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Environmental product line, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead a team of underwriters and support staff to achieve excellent customer service and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Claims, Actuarial, and product leaders, to analyze results and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage underwriting authority, technical pricing standards, and product line specific training.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including producers, underwriters, and senior leadership.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10+ years of insurance underwriting and leadership experience, with at least 5 years of underwriting experience within Environmental.
  • Exposure to and understanding of actuarial function.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent strategic skills, with the ability to think long-term and lead transformational change.
