Job Title: Vice President, Product Line Leader, Environmental

About the Role:

The Vice President, Product Line Leader, Environmental will lead the strategic Environmental product line to achieve targeted profitability goals in line with established targets. This role will be responsible for developing, communicating, and executing upon the goals and objectives established by the Senior Vice President - Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Environmental product line, in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  2. Provide leadership, direction, coaching, mentorship, and overall support to the field environmental underwriting teams to achieve effective execution of best practices.
  3. Monitor and revise authority as needed, enhance underwriting guidelines on a regular basis, and perform periodic audits of the portfolio.
  4. Ensure effective engagement with Regional, Actuarial, Claims, IT, and Operational leadership to deliver on established profitability targets while meeting client needs.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 10+ years of insurance underwriting and leadership experience, with at least 5 years of underwriting experience within Environmental.
  2. Exposure to and understanding of the actuarial function.
