Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the Environmental product line, driving strategic growth and profitability. The successful candidate will develop and execute plans to achieve targeted goals, collaborating with key stakeholders and providing leadership to underwriting teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the Environmental product line, aligning with company objectives
  • Lead underwriting teams to achieve effective execution of best practices and deliver on profitability targets
  • Collaborate with Regional, Actuarial, Claims, IT, and Operational leadership to ensure alignment and effective engagement
  • Define and lead the strategy for Environmental products, building from the Division business plan
  • Manage the Environmental product through continuous Portfolio Management, providing clear underwriting direction and ensuring effective execution
  • Prepare and execute product line specific training for underwriters and support staff
  • Manage gross and net line guidelines, collaborating with Claims, Actuarial, and product leaders for results analysis
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10+ years of insurance underwriting and leadership experience, with at least 5 years in Environmental underwriting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive strategic growth and profitability
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze data and drive business decisions
