About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Worker to join our team at NEXUS Community Support Society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with individuals and their support networks to develop and implement personalized plans.
  • Facilitate community inclusion and participation in various settings, promoting social connections and a sense of belonging.
  • Document progress, successes, and areas for further support, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Participate in meetings, training, and service planning to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, including driving and lifting, and hold a valid Class 5 driver's license.
Requirements
  • Related experience working with adults with diverse abilities is an asset.
  • Basic computer skills and physical ability to perform duties.
  • First Aid certification (Level 1).
  • Ability to work in a union and non-union environment.
