We are seeking a skilled and experienced chef to join our team at Spice Hut Canada Franchise Ltd as an Executive Chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, training staff, and maintaining inventory in a fast-paced food service environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Train and develop kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient operations and ensure a smooth service.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- East Indian cuisine, with a focus on traditional recipes and modern twists.
