We are a vibrant and dynamic restaurant located in the heart of the city, serving up delicious meals and exceptional service to our customers. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our kitchen team as a Line Cook.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Line Cook to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to the highest standards
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
