Spice Hut Canada Franchise Ltd is seeking a skilled Culinary Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Your attention to detail and ability to inspect kitchens and food service areas will ensure a high level of quality and safety. You will also train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as order supplies and equipment. Additionally, you will supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas. If you have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and are able to manage kitchen operations, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
* Inspect kitchens and food service areas
* Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
* Order supplies and equipment
* Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
* Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
* Clean kitchen and work areas

**Requirements:**

* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
* Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect kitchens and food service areas
* Ability to train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
* Ability to order supplies and equipment
* Ability to supervise kitchen staff and helpers
* Ability to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
* Ability to clean kitchen and work areas
