About the Role:

The Director of Talent Attraction will lead the development and implementation of a national recruitment and sourcing strategy to attract top talent to Rexall Pharmacy Group. This role will work closely with business leaders and HR colleagues to understand key business priorities, hiring volumes, and initiatives for talent attraction needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment and sourcing strategy to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Collaborate with HR partners, Operations, and RSC hiring managers to create and implement effective talent acquisition processes and tools.
  • Lead benchmarking and implementation of best-in-class practices for recruiting talent across the organization.
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes by sharing standard methodologies, understanding business needs, and brand strategy.
  • Develop innovative approaches to position Rexall in the marketplace to attract top talent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community members, hospital foundations, and government representatives.
  • Set and maintain annual budgets for RSC and Field recruitment.
  • Source new vendor relationships and maintain existing ones to ensure negotiated agency costs align with recruitment strategy.
  • Provide workforce metrics on new hires, retention, turnover, sources of hire, etc.
  • Develop the annual Recruitment and Campus Recruitment Strategy to attract high-quality students and interns.

    Requirements:

    • 6-8 years of professional experience in Talent Attraction.
    • Experience in the retail sector is an asset.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
    • Experience dealing with and influencing senior executives.
    • Experience developing innovative and creative approaches to recruitment.
    • Superb planning and execution skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Customer-focused professional approach.
