About the Role

Via HFR is redefining passenger rail service in Canada, and we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Talent Management and Culture initiatives. As Director, Talent Management and Culture, you will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience and fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement organizational development and professional development initiatives aligned with Via HFR's strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify training needs and design, develop, and deliver programs that support business growth and evolution.
  • Implement organizational mobilization initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention, including onboarding, performance management, and talent development programs.
  • Develop and execute Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and culture strategies that align with organizational objectives and best practices.
  • Design and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, including succession planning and talent development programs.
  • Lead a team of multidisciplinary professionals responsible for building development initiatives that facilitate employee integration and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • CPHR designation (an asset).
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role, with demonstrated expertise in employee experience management, organizational development, and DEI.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of best practices in employee experience, organizational development, and DEI.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to rapid changes.
  • Bilingualism (English and French).
