We are seeking a skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at VIET LOUNGE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of meals, as well as managing kitchen staff and operations.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with an estimated salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. The successful candidate can expect to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Culinary Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods;
  • Training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
  • Supervising kitchen staff and helpers;
  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
  • Cleaning kitchen and work areas;
  • Recruiting and hiring staff;
  • Managing kitchen operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment;
  • Strong communication and leadership skills;
  • A passion for culinary arts and customer service.
