We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Brake and Shear Department team at Pride Bodies Ltd., a Wabtec Corporation company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for upholding the priorities of Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Teamwork while performing accurate and finished work to the satisfaction of our end customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and carry out instructions efficiently within given deadlines
  • Apply safe automotive and manufacturing work practices
  • Read and understand shop drawings to enable independent work
  • Cut, punch, and drill material accurately and efficiently
  • Deburr and sand all sharp edges to minimize cleanup
  • Stack parts for easy access and label correctly
  • Assist operations in the fabricating area
Requirements
  • High School/GED diploma required
  • Able to maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Able to work safely at all times, checking for hazards before starting any task
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Able to read a tape measure correctly
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
