Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team at INFINITY HVAC LTD. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal products for residential and commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate heating and cooling loads to ensure efficient system design
  • Design and fabricate duct systems to meet client specifications
  • Select and install equipment for residential and small commercial construction projects
  • Measure and mark sheet metal according to template for accurate fabrication
  • Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
  • Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces for a smooth finish
  • Fit and join sheet metal parts to ensure a secure and leak-free installation
  • Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation
  • Dusty work site environment
  • Installation, service and various locations work setting
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment
  • Dependability, judgement and team player skills
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • 35 to 44 hours per week
